About This Site

TedSilary.app is a free, non-commercial archive of Philadelphia-area high school sports history, built to preserve and honor the work of sportswriter Ted Silary. It covers the Philadelphia Catholic League, the Inter-Ac League, and the Philadelphia Public League.

This is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by any school, the Philadelphia Catholic League, the Inter-Ac League, the Philadelphia Public League, the PIAA, or any newspaper.

Where the Information Comes From

Records on this site are compiled from Ted Silary's published work and archives, historical newspaper coverage, and stat files submitted by volunteer contributors. Some records go back more than a century. Where sources disagree, we show the source rather than pick a winner.

Data Accuracy

We work hard to get things right, but historical records are incomplete and errors happen: misspelled names, missing seasons, stats that were never recorded. Everything on this site is provided "as is," without any guarantee of accuracy or completeness. Do not rely on it for anything that matters legally or financially, such as eligibility, recruiting, or insurance decisions.

Corrections & Removal Requests

If you are (or represent) a player, coach, or family member and you believe a record about you is wrong, email [insert contact email]. Include the player name, school, season, and what should change. We review every request in good faith.

Most information here comes from published newspaper coverage and is part of the public historical record, so we generally do not remove accurate records. If you have a specific concern, write to us and we will discuss it.
